[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]From April 29th to May 7th, 2017, my wife and I embarked on an incredible adventure to beautiful Iceland. As we traveled, I realized that I wanted to share our account of the vacation of a lifetime, and offer tips, tricks, advice, and experiences to others about to take off on similar journeys.
It is this passion that caused Iceland In 8 Days to be born. We traveled a loop around the full Ring Road, making several side trips, including the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, along the way. I did extensive research to maximize attractions while minimizing stress. The line between missing out and overextending is razor thin, and we managed to stay on it for the duration of our trip.
I’ve read countless stories of people losing entire swaths of beautiful Iceland that they could have experienced if a) they knew the locations existed, and b) they had shifted their itinerary just a little to allow for a more efficient route. My ultimate goal for this site is to assist in helping more travelers see more of Iceland.
With this site experiencing rapid growth in users, I consider that assistance a success! We have many free resources, firsthand accounts, and are very active on numerous social networkds to provide the best support possible for those debating or planning their Iceland vacation.
Feel free to navigate the main menu to see tips and tricks, our full itinerary, our daily journals with pictures (when on the main site, I didn’t do any post-processing), and plenty of articles on various topics!
Also available are custom itineraries. If there were one thing I wish I would have had to make my trip planning better, it would be a custom developed route from someone who has been there, done that, and done their research ahead of time. That person is myself, ready and waiting for your request to build your custom itinerary to maximize your adventure and minimize your stress!
Thanks for stopping by Iceland in 8 Days!
